SHUKTI BHUSMA ( CALX OF PEARL OYSTER SHELLS)
Shukti bhasma is an Ayurvedic preparation from Pearl Oyster. These pearl oysters are found in Indian Ocean. Shells of oyster are processed as per Ayurvedic texts to create calcinated shells. It is also known as the Mukta Shukti Bhasma.
- Oyster shells have high amounts of calcium, they can help balance your soil pH levels. Shells also strengthen plant cell walls, improve nitrate uptake, and can help form enzymes in your soil.
- Leafy greens and vegetables will also have a greater growth rate and vitality with added oyster shells in the soil.
- This medication is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levelsin people who do not get enough calcium from their diets.
Used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as
- bone loss(osteoporosis).
- weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets).
- decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism).
- a certain muscle disease (latent tetany).
